Creating the GPO

Now we have a magic msi file "AcroRead.msi", for those of you that know about GPOs, msi files are as easy as it gets to install an app. Simply link the msi to a GPO, gpupdate the computer, and it should install on reboot.

So log on to your server, or open Group Policy management from your workstation if you have admin tools installed with the run command gpmc.msc.

Right click the group you want to deploy this policy too and select "Create a GPO in this domain...", give it a suitable name, now right click the newly created GPO and go "edit" then expand "Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Software Settings" now right click "Software installation" click "New -> Package..." and direct it to the msi file as shown below, remember to use a path that is accessible anywhere on the network and not just a mapped drive to your computer and click "Open" then "OK".
